Molly DeWitt
BLOG WRITING
Molly DeWitt received her B.A. in English with an emphasis in Professional Writing as well as a Certificate of Professional Writing from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2008. Upon graduating, she parlayed an internship with her area newspaper, The Daily News, in Jacksonville, North Carolina, into a full time reporting gig.
During her two-year stint as a journalist, Molly covered local government and dabbled in reporting on local military events at area military bases Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station New River. On occasion, she also took on writing columns (her true love) for the newspaper.
Following her journalistic jump-start at the newspaper, Molly dove into the world of non-profit and human services work where she continues to work full-time helping children and families in her community. Through her work at a non-profit agency she was also afforded the chance to participate in the Onslow Memorial Hospital MomTalk blogging community as a contributor for the Cuddlebugs blog during 2012 and 2013 where she wrote about the joys, pitfalls, trials and tribulations of motherhood.
At the Chop Shop Molly specializes in blogging and is able to flex her journalistic muscles by researching a variety of topics and industries for our blog clients.
